Patterned Party Birthday 3

Welcome to my blog. If you are visiting for the first time I hope that you like what you see, as well as, be inspired to create a papercraft project for yourself. If you visit me often, thank you very much for being one of my followers. I do appreciate it. Here is another card I created using the patterned party stamp set. I used cherry cobbler, pumpkin pie, night of navy, and whisper white cardstock. For tools I ended up using the scallop trim border punch, Big Shot machine, bitty banners framelits, perfect polka dots embossing folder, paper piercing tool, along with the essentials paper-piercing pack. The other stamp set I used is called itty bitty banners. All of these products are available in the Stampin' Up! catalog.
I am still trying to work on making the pictures of the cards look better. They always look better in person then what the camera shows.
I pray you have a very nice day. As always, if you have a minute please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Patterned Party Birthday Card 2

Finally, I am getting around to posting another card. I get lazy when I come home from work and don't want to do anything. It is too easy to just say I am too tired then to push myself and get something accomplished. With that said. I have another patterned party birthday card to share with you. I decided to make this one using whisper white as my card base. Like I have shared with you before, white is not my color. Due to that reason, I have a hard time creating a complete a card using white and liking it. To be honest with you, this one I like.
I ended up using another stamp from the stamp set word play for the saying. The other cardstock colors I used are night of navy, cherry cobbler, and pumpkin pie. For tools I used the scallop edge punch and the 1 3/4" circle punch. My big shot along with the circles #2 bigz die made the outer sized circle.
The fun thing about the candle numbers is you can make the age of the birthday boy or girl a different color than all of the rest. That is what I did with this one.
I actually have two more finished cards to post and show you in the next week or two. Please keep visiting.

Fabulous Florets Thinking of You

I hope everyone is doing well. Everything is going pretty good in my family and my little part of the world. The card you see was made for my manager. She has had to go through quite a few very difficult things in the past few months, of which, it still is not over. One of my coworkers wanted to do something nice for her to try and lift her spirits. We could all use it at times, but she really needed it. My part of this was to make the card. This was the final result.

To make this card I used chocolate chip, rose red, and naturals ivory cardstock. The stamp sets are fabulous florets and the retired set sincere salutations. I used the stampin' sponge, decorative label punch, scallop oval punch, and the retired lace ribbon border punch. I used classic ink, watercolor crayons, and blender pens to color the flowers. As for the bling, I added basic pearl jewels. The only other little thing I added was a small butterfly using my big shot and the beautiful wings embosslit die.
My boss told me she loved the card and even wanted to frame it! I was very happy that she liked it.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Pattterned Party Birthday

It has been a while since I have posted something new. To be honest, today is the first I have been able to take the time to create a new card. This is the first out of 4 cards I will be making for my upcoming card class. I think this card looks much better in person than in the picture. I think I need to spend some time looking at some photography pins I have pinned on Pinterest. Once I do that, maybe I can improve the pictures somehow. I believe, it is in the lighting, that is for sure.

To make this card I used cherry cobbler, pumpkin pie, night of navy, and whisper white cardstock. Patterned Party is the name of the stamp set. For tools, I used the dotted scallop ribbon border punch and the petite pennants builder punch. I almost forgot. I also used the big shot along with the stripes folder textured impressions embossing folder.
Be watching, because I will be posting some more cards soon. I have 3 more to get done. I apologize for the face that I don't post things more often. I want to create more often, but end up being tired and not wanting to do anything.
Thanks for being patient with me!

Pillow Box Wedding Favors

Hello! I have been working on a couple of projects lately. This one I have done for my daughter, of which, she is getting married on Tuesday. The thing that kind of stinks though, is that I used mostly retired products to make these. I hope you still like them though and I am sure some of you have some of these products still too.
To make these I used elegant eggplant, basic black, and very vanilla cardstock. To do the writing I used the MDS program. I used the Big Shot along with the pillow box die (retired) and the vintage wallpaper embossing folder. I used the decorative label and curly label punches. The ribbon was very vanilla satin 5/8 inch (retired). The flowers are not stampin' up! I used those because they matched and it saved me some time from having to make them.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you like them enough that you would want to make some also. Oh, they have m & m's in them. Mmmm good!

Zoo Review Father's Day Card

Well, Father's Day has come and gone. I am going to share with you a very fast card I made for my husband for Father's Day. Fortunately, he is not hard to please.

I used all Stampin' Up! products to design this card. The designer series paper is now retired. It was from the mocha morning specialty designer series paper. The cardstock colors used were crumb cake, basic black, and very vanilla. Zoo review is the stamp set the images are from. The sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes, which is a great stamp set to own. I used the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punch and the dotted scallop ribbon punch. For embellishments I used two basic black brads from the neutrals set.
I hope you had a great time spending Father's Day with a Father you love greatly.
