Today, I am sharing with you a card created with the "You've Got This" stamp set from Stampin' Up. I wasn't going to get this stamp set because I have so many flower stamp sets already. When I was on the Pinterest website and seen cards other people have created using this set just won me over to purchase it for myself.

Thank you for stopping by. Today, I am sharing with you a basket that is made using the Berry Basket Bigz L Die from the Occasions Catalog. I believe, there are a lot of things you can use this die for gifts, shower favors, to name a few. I don't know why, but I really like 3-D projects. Maybe, because they are more exciting than just a card. I know, it isn't just a card when you make them yourself. I too love giving cards and making them special for whoever it is I am making them for. I just still tend to like the 3-D stuff more.

Tools: Big Shot, Berry Basket Bigz L Die, Butterflies Thinlits Dies, and the Bigz Beautiful Butterly (retired)
Accessories: Artisan Embellishment Kit

I still have not totally decided what I want to put into this little basket. I am planning on giving it away as a gift, though. Please, leave a comment if you would like. If not, thank you for stopping by, anyhow. I hope you have been inspired to create a basket yourself!
It has been a long time since I posted a picture of something I created. It had been a cold winter. I could not stand to be down in my basement for very long at all to create cards or post anything. That was even with a heater running.
I am happy to say that my craft room and computer are now moved upstairs to an unused room, since my children are grown. Now I have no excuse to not be able to post new things on my blog, at least for being cold that is. Now it would be because of being tired from work, watching my grandchildren, or who knows what else. I will try to do better though.
This is a card I had made for my husband in February using the stamp sets "Moon Lake" and "Wetlands." For the background I used the "Hardwood" stamp. Due to the fact that it has been a little while back, I have to guess a little bit with the colors. My husband saves the cards I make for him, so I know for sure I used Chocolate Chip, Tangelo Twist, and Whisper White cardstock. The ink choice was Memento Tuxedo Black. For the coloring I had used the Stampin' Up! Blendabilities, unfortunately, due to quality issues with these Stampin' Up! has discontinued them. I am curious to see if they come out with something else, instead. I hope so at least.
Now, moving on to the tools. Obviously, I used the Big Shot, along with the Oval Framelits. The duck I cut out by hand with Papersnips.

Well, there you have the details. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them. Thank you for taking the time to look. Have a wonderful day.

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!! I wanted to share with you the stars I made for my Christmas tree this year. I used the paper from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog called "Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack." The only problem I ran into was I ran out of paper to make them. I didn't use some of the colors that were in the pack because they would not have matched as well. I guess I should have bought two of the paper stacks.

A big reason I chose to make these is because of my grandson. My daughter said he kept knocking the tree over because he was fascinated with the lights. He also was taking the bulbs off of the tree and throwing them. He thought they were a ball. I figured by making these nothing would get broke and he would not get hurt.

I got the idea to make these from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator. You can get access to the YouTube video by visiting her blog here. She made big ones that were 16" in size, I made ones that are only 6" in size. I found it was easier to use only 5 pieces of paper, instead of 6. That is how mine became stars and not snowflakes.

Just to help you out a bit, she also used a stapler from Stampin' Up! I have not purchased it, yet, but I am planning on getting one when I place my next order. I tried using mini glue dots in place of the staples. I found that the middle sections did not want to stay adhered. The stapler I had was too big. I am not sure if the one you can get from Stampin' Up! is small enough to use for this or not. You will have to try and see, if you have it. I actually think besides the stapler the Tombo glue would work best. It would just take a little longer to dry.
I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving! I really had a nice time with my family. I just love being able to spend time with them.
As I promised in my last post. Here are the turkeys I made for my 3 grandsons. They maybe did not enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them for them, but that is the fun in being able to give something that you have made yourself. Yes, that gives me a lot of joy!!

When making these I was inspired by another lady that made and shared hers on Pinterest. If you would like to see her turkey you can click here. It is not the top one that you see first that inspired me, but the one that is next. It was so elegant and more the look that I wanted to create myself.
As I have shared before, I don't like to case what someone else creates. Due to that reason, mine is similar in some ways, and yet different. I decided to share two of the turkeys up close and then one that has the
three of them altogether. Each one is just a little bit different than
the other ones, but still very much the same.

The designer series paper that was used to make this card has been retired. Just for her, I still wanted to use it anyhow.
If you have not tried out the Stampin' Blendabilities, as of yet, you should really consider getting some or if you have them try them. They are a lot of fun to work/play with. You will definitely want the color lifter, too. I really like the effect it gives.
Stamp Sets: Blended Bloom and Another Great Year (retired)
Tools: Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blendabilities
Accessories: Antique Brads

I guess I need to double check some of the stamp sets that I am using and make sure they aren't retired. For some reason I missed that Another Great Year had retired. Even so, it is nice to use some of these retired sets every once in a while.

Thanksgiving is quickly coming upon us. Please, be watching. I am going to be posting some turkeys I created for my grandsons. I think they turned out great!! Until then, have a great week!
Without the blended bloom flower, it was just too plain for my liking. Once, I added the flower it pleased me. I don't know if you are like that or not. There are times I just do not like a card I created. There are times I have to play with a card with different elements to finally like it. Then there are times I love it.
It has been a while since I have shared anything on here. I have had some changes going on in my life due to getting a new job and also having a third grandson born. Both of these things are for the good. I will try very hard to not leave so much time go by for now on.
If you follow me, you will remember that I said I would probably share more pins that can be made using the Blended Bloom Stamp Set. The one I am sharing with you today is made with Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Up Blendabilities.

I had someone ask me if the Crystal Effects changes the color of the Stampin' Blendabilities. I can honestly say that with the Melon Mambo Blendabilities I did not notice any change in the color. With this set though, I did notice it did affect the color. With that said, I still think it turned out pretty good. If you play around with other colors you may notice some change, too.

I like to share two different views sometimes so you can see the layering, as well as what it looks like from the front.
Holiday Catalog, I knew it was something I wanted to order. I tend to like to purchase the box makers because they are great for little gifts and favors for weddings, showers, and birthdays. You just never know what you will one day be asked to make for someone or you may need it for something personal, for instance, your own daughter is having a shower

This little box is very easy to make. The one you see I created has no stamping in it at all. The images I used are from the Maritime Designer Series Paper. I just cut the whale out using Paper Snips. The tags come with the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies. I just used sections of the Maritime DSP for those and then used cardstock to compliment each one.
I think this would be really cute to use as favors for a little boys birthday party. Thank you for checking out my blog. Please, be inspired to create one yourself.
I have talked about some different sets that are versatile. I would say, hands down, this is another one.
If you haven't tried out the new set of "In Color" stamp pads, you need to. I love the colors. I believe, it is because I tend to really like the rich, dark colors. That is why I really gravitate to the Regals collection.

Here is another card using the same stamp set with a different lay out.
Pretty much it uses all of the same materials as the card above, except for the following:
Cardstock: Tangelo Twist and Lost Lagoon; Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels

I intentionally left off the sayings on these cards. There are times you need a card for something quick and these can be made to say almost anything you want. The top card was used for a sympathy card. The bottom card has not been used yet. I will put a saying on it when I need it.
The most detail is the cutting around the "Happy Birthday to You" saying. The Work of Art stamp set makes such really cool backgrounds. I love how easy it is to use and create with.
I know quite a few young women that are going to have babies in the near future. One of them is my daughter.
I created this card as a sample. To be honest, I need to create some more, which I will, just not yet. The one lady I worked with is considering having me make some for her when her baby is born. Plus, I need to have some made up for when I need one.

These are the Stampin' Up! supplies needed to create this card.
Cardstock: Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White
Stamp Set: Something for Baby
Tools: Big Shot, Baby's First Framelits, Banners Framelits, and the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder

This card is for a little boy, but could be easily changed by using Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder, and So Saffron. I am sure you could come up with a few other colors besides those.
Thanks for looking!
There is a ton of things that can be done to this flower stamp to make it even different than what I have come up with. You could add more layers. You could use a fancy brad in the middle of the flower. The colors you choose could be endless. Maybe, even more than what I just suggested could be done. You may be seeing more of these in the near future. Just because I think it would be fun to play with.

I tried to capture the layers in the picture above. I can see them, so you should be able to, as well.

Stamping supplies needed to create this pin.
Stamp: Blended Bloom
Cardstock: Whisper White
Ink: Tuxedo Black Momento
Stampin' Blendabilities: Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight sets
Accessory: Pin Back

An optional idea is to create your own box. I have created one, but I did not take a picture of it. You can use your Simply Scored Scoring Tool or the new Gift Box Punch Board in the Holiday Catalog to create it.
The only other thing I did was cut a piece of Basic Black Cardstock into a square, put 2 holes in it, and attached the pin through it. I think this would be a great craft fair idea!
Please, tell me what you think.
I made this one for my grandson who turned 5 years old. I have seen many cards made using the Work of Art stamp set and was ready to try it out for myself. This stamp set and Gorgeous Grunge are really fun sets to have and play with. If you don't have them already you can purchase them from me by going to my Stampin' Up! website found here.
These are the supplies needed to create this card.
Stamp Sets: Work of Art, Gorgeous Grunge, Another Great Year, and Itty Bitty Banners
Cardstock: Real Red, Night of Navy, and Whisper White
Classic Ink: Night of Navy, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, and Daffodil Delight
Tools: Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits, Circle Framelits, Sunburst Framelits, Stampin' Distress Tool

The one mistake I did make when creating this card was I used the Blendabilities with the Night of Navy Classic Ink, instead of using the Tuxedo Black Momento Ink. I was just very careful not to touch the outline of the image with the Blendabilities. I am happy to say it did not bleed.
Thank you for looking. You can always leave a comment if you would like. Have a wonderful day!
You can tell which one won out. Not only did I want to try out the Fry Box Bigz Die, but I also wanted to try out the Spiral Flower Originals Die, too. I thought it would make a very nice little favor to give away to someone special. The person that is going to get this is one of my customers.
Blendabilities. I am still trying to get to the point where I am really happy with how they blend. I have seen some other cards done by other people and really love how theirs look over mine. I am not giving up though. I am sure it just takes quite a bit of practice.
Please, give me some tips if you want. I have watched a few videos and am doing what they show. It may be color choice more than anything.
Blendabilities. If you enjoy coloring and it is relaxing to you, this is just the thing for you. My husband tells me he would not be able to stay in the lines. I find that kind of funny. The good thing is you can use the color lifter if you do go outside of the lines or just trim out your image.
There was something I wanted to try when I finished this blended bloom flower. If you don't already notice. Do you see that it is shiny? I used crystal effects on it when I was all done coloring it in the way I wanted it. It would make a beautiful pin, as well as, a card.
I am happy to share this card with you using the new Stampin' Blendabilities Markers. They are a lot of fun to play with. You can get all kinds of effects with them. The blended bloom flower is not blended so much with each color likeness on this image. To be honest, I liked it this way. I have done others where they are blended more, but I like to try things in different ways sometimes. Please, tell me what you think. I appreciate your input!
I am sorry that I post things after it is already over. The main reason I do is because I do not want the person receiving the card to see it on here before they get it. It kind of takes the surprise out of giving it.
This card was made for my husband. He really likes anchors and the nautical theme. The stamp set, The Open Sea, is one of my favorite stamp sets. It just makes very beautiful cards. There are many stamp sets that I love because of their versatility. These are the type of sets to have and keep for a long time.
I had a niece graduate this year. I thought it would be neat to try the Work of Art stamp set for this card. It was missing something, though. That is when I pulled out the Gorgeous Grunge set. Once, I added that set to it, I was happy. If you wonder why I chose these colors, well, I was trying to go with the school colors. The problem I ran into was they are black, white, and gold. I do not have any gold cardstock. I ended up just using what I had and didn't worry about it.
In case you wonder about the tassel. I created it using the Whisper White Baker's Twine. I just kept in mind what they look like and created it from that.
She has always liked flowers. I have seen a lot of the flower pot cards created by many different people and thought I would give it a try. Once again, my inspiration was from Pinterest, which was a video. You can see it here.
After making this one, I do believe, I will make more. They are really fun and turn out beautifully!
Do you know what I just realized? I was going to use the candy dots for the middle of the flowers. Guess what? I totally forgot to put them on. Well, it is way too late now. If you make one, try not to make the same mistake. It would have given it a little more bling, especially if it were a rhinestone or pearl. I am sorry I forgot to put them on.
Thanks for looking. You may leave a comment if you would like. Thanks!
I hope that you will enjoy visiting and leave inspired by what you see. There is so much satisfaction in making something yourself to give away.
The card that you see here was made for a lady that placed an order from me for Stampin' Up! supplies.
I really need to make a light box. The reason being, once again, this card looked so so so much better in person. The lighting makes such a difference in how something shows up.
I pray, today, is a wonderful Easter for you celebrate the true meaning of Easter, as well as, spend it with your loved ones. I have not been the happiest camper because we had to cancel our family get together. I decided to come down with some kind of bug early in the morning yesterday and my husband also about 12 hours later. To try to not pass it on, we chose to cancel. Of course, I feel better now, but I am not sure how long you can be carrying the germs. Better safe than sorry.
Today, I am sharing with you a couple of bunny belly bands I created for my grandson's Bibles. They were created using punches and a Big Shot. I have a few pictures I am going to show you. The first pictures I took I had forgotten to put the whiskers on the bunnies. I remembered when I looked at the picture where I got my inspiration from to make these, Pinterest, of course, found here.

The picture above was from before I glued them onto the belly band.

The picture above is when I still had not remembered to add the whiskers. I do believe it made quite a bit of difference.

Above, is the final result. What I think really made these turn out so well, was adding the sponging around the edges of the Baked Brown Sugar Cardstock. It gives it depth. I love using the sponge!

These are all of the Stampin' Up! products you would need to create these cute little guys.
Cardstock: Watercolor Wonder DSP, Marina Mist, Baked Brown Sugar, Garden Green, and Whisper White
Classic Ink: Early Espresso
Tools: Big Shot, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Oval and Circle Framelits, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch, Boho Blossom Punch, Owl Builder Punch, 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch, and Stampin' Sponge, Basic Gray Stampin' Write Marker, and Fringe Scissors
