Memorable Moments Anniversary Card

Time sure does fly by. It seems like I am constantly busy anymore. Between work and helping out with the grandchildren, most of my time is occupied. When I can, I still enjoy my stamping time.
On to the Anniversary card. Your first anniversary is always a special time. My youngest daughter and her husband celebrated their first anniversary July 3rd. Now you see how long ago I made this card and am just now getting it posted. Being it was a first, I wanted to make a card that they would want to keep. When making this card I tried to make it girl and guy friendly. Yes, I used hearts, but an anniversary is about love, right? With that being said, here is the final results.

Stampin' Up! products used to create this card.
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, and Natural Composition Specialty DSP
Stamp Set: Memorable Moments
Classic Ink: Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler
Tools: Big Shot, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits, Labels Collection Framelits, Adorning Accents Embossing Folder, and a stampin' sponge
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler 1/2" seam binding

One more thing I would like to add. I used night of navy classic ink on a stampin' sponge and rubbed it all over the Natural Composition Specialty DSP. The glossy design repels the ink and the other part of the paper accepts it. It is a lot of fun to see how different the paper looks afterwards, compared to its original design.
Thank you for visiting.
Now go-n-stamp!!

Memorable Moments Birthday Card

It has been a while since I have posted. I was going to post this the other day, but our internet was down which made it impossible for me to post. I guess better late than never.
This card was made for my mom. You do not have to ask what for or how old because it is all right there for you to know and see. She told me, "You had to put how old I was on there didn't you." This is why I like this stamp set. It is nice being able to put the number of years, whether it is for a birthday or anniversary. It makes the card very personal for the receiver.

These are the Stampin' Up! items I used to create this card.
Stamp set: Memorable Moments
Classic Ink: Night of Navy and Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, and Gingham Garden DSP
Tools: Big Shot, Labels Collection Framelits, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Little Leaves Sizzlit, and a Boho Blossoms Punch
Accessories: Large Pearl Basic Jewels
Once again, being honest with you, I did not like this card. For some reason I really struggle with the look of plain cardstock. I did not like the flowers, but once I put in the leaves it made a huge difference. Now I can say I like it.

Now go-n-stamp!!
