Mickey Mouse Banner

There will be a birthday party very soon for a little boy that will be turning two. This little boy, who happens to be my youngest grandson, loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It has been a favorite of his for quite some time.
My daughter has decided that the theme of his 2nd birthday will be Mickey Mouse. I am going to be making some of the decorations for his special day. The first thing I am going to share with you was inspired by a banner that was found on Pinterest. You can view it here. As most of you know already, I do not like to copy someone elses work. I ended up using some ideas from the one on Pinterest, but I made it a lot different in the end.

This took quite a bit of time to make. The reason is because I had to really think how I wanted it to look. There is still one more thing I am going to do to it, but I can't until the end of this month. I am going to add some Pacific Point ribbon to it. I have to purchase it first.
This was created using all Stampin' Up! products, with one exception, the metal rod that has all of the ribbon tied to it.
Cardstock: Whisper White, Old Olive, Basic Black, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Pacific Point
Stamp set: Defining Alphabet (Retired)
My Digital Studio
Tools: 1 1/4 " and 1 3/8" Circle Punches, Small Oval Punch, Big Shot, Squares Collection and Circles Collection Frame Lits, and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Accessories: 1/4" and 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Basic Black, Whisper White, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight

If you are having a Mickey Mouse party, this may be the inspiration you need to create a banner yourself. I am sure I will be posting other things I create for this party in the near future.
Thank you for looking and please leave a comment!

Now go-n-stamp!!
