Fifteen Percent Off Sale, Today and Card Share

Hello blogging friends. I pray all is well for you that live on the east coast. Even where I live we are feeling some of the effects of the tropical storm. I am sure we have it much more mild than the east coast.

Do not forget that today is the 15% off sale on single stamps and stamp sets. There are more details on the post just below this one.

I am sharing a thank you card that was made using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die found in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. I chose not to get the stamp set because I knew I could use the textured impressions embossing folders to make the leaves look great. Of course, you need a Big Shot to be able to create them. I have already told you that I love fall because of the colors. I love the richness of the deep colors. The regals collection is my favorite. Guess what? That is also more of the colors you find in the fall season.

Above is the card that I was came up with using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die. The other items used to make this card are the following: elegant eggplant, cherry cobbler, cajun craze, more mustard, and very vanilla cardstock; natural composition specialty designer series paper; stampin' sponge; big shot;
houndstooth folder, square lattice folder, woodgrain folder, and lacy brocade textured impressions embossing folder; bitty banners framelits; itty bitty banners stamp set; lastly, a regals (cajun craze) designer button.

In case you are wondering, I used the stampin' sponge on the designer series paper with more mustard, cajun craze, cherry cobbler, and elegant eggplant classic ink.

Have a great day! Try to find some time to stamp! I love it because it helps me relax. We all have an outlet. Mine is stamping.

Purple Thank You

I have a card to share with you. If you are a person that really likes purple, then this may be one you really like. This is the first card designed for my thank you card class. I have 2 others done, but need to make one more. I will be posting them very soon.

To make this card you will need elegant eggplant, perfect plum, very vanilla cardstock, and a little bit of first edition specialty designer series paper. You will need your big shot, the lacy brocade textured impressions embossing folder, fashionable hearts embosslits, and the delicate doilies sizzlits (largest one). The stamp sets used are from the From My Heart set and the Tiny Tags set. You also need a stampin' sponge, which I used on the designer series paper. I just about forgot one more thing. You will also need the 1 3/8" square punch to make the bottom of the designer series paper look like a ribbon.

I am sorry that the quality of the picture isn't the greatest. Once again, it is the lighting. They always look much better in person than on here. Sorry about that.

Have a wonderful day. Hopefully, you can get some stamping time in. I will be posting more in the next few days. Leave a comment if you want, otherwise, thank you so much for visiting. I hope you come back more often and you like what you see.

Tile Coasters

I had a wedding shower to go to and needed something to give. I finally decided to give coasters a try. I had bought the tiles quite a while back (a year or two ago). These were simple to make, fun to do, and turned out beautifully.
The bride to be that I made these for has already told me that a couple of people have already asked her where she got them from. When she tells them a lady that she works with made them they don't believe her.
I am really wanting to have a class making these. They are easy and don't cost a lot to make. The great thing is they look like they were expensive. I have to be honest and say that I did not come up with this idea all on my own. There are a few people on Stampin' Connection that I was inspired from. I did not case what they did, but they were the ones that helped me come up with this idea.

I used the En Francais background stamp and the Just Believe stamp set. I also used black Staz On ink. As for the tag, it is made using the two tags bigz die and the big shot machine. I used the lacy brocade textured impressions embossing folder. The stamped image is also from the Just Believe stamp set and the sentiment is from the Pennant Parade stamp set. I use the flower from the boho blossom punch and a jewels basic rhinestone. I also added a cork square to the back of the tiles to keep them from scratching furniture. One more thing. I used 5/8" black grosgrain ribbon, which is retired.
I hope this inspires you to try to create some. I was very happy with how they turned out. Please leave a comment if you would like.

From My Heart Enjoy Life

Finally, I am back posting. I have a couple more things to post besides this card in the next week or so. I envy the people that can post something new everyday. I don't have the time to be able to do that.
This card was made using the From My Heart stamp set. Everything is current Stampin' Up! products, except for the Bella Bleu designer series paper. I have a bunch of retired paper that needs to be used up. I don't know about you, but I believe, we all need to enjoy everyday that we are given. We never know when it will be our last day. We should not take it for granted. The Lord has given each of us a time table. We just don't know when the end is.

The colors for this card are bashful blue, crumb cake, and whisper white. I used the Big Shot machine with the apothecary accents framelits, the adorning accents edgelits, and the beautiful wings embosslits. For embellishments I used the pearl basic jewels. The ink color is crumb cake with bashful blue sponged along the edge.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I pray you were inspired and will come back to visit more often. Of course, if you want to leave a comment I would love it.
