He is Risen Easter Card

Easter is almost here! Have you made any Easter cards up yet? I have made 4 of them. My mom wanted me to keep them simple. I tried to do that. Here is one of the ones I have made. To be honest, they look better in person, once again. I still need to come up with a better way of photographing my cards. This one looks to dull compared to what it looks in real life. Oh well, you still get the idea. I just wish it looked more like what it does in real life.

I used pretty in pink and whisper white cardstock. The stamp set is "He is Risen." Of course, I had to use my Big Shot along with the framed tulips texturized embossing folder. For ink I used certainly celery, pretty in pink, and crumb cake. I also used my watercolor pencils. All of the products can be purchased from Stampin' Up!
I will post another card soon.

Now go-n-stamp!!

Whisper White Easter Card

Easter will be here before we know it. I did not check the calendar when I planned my white elegance card class. Since my mom was the only one doing it and she needed Easter cards more, I have decided to postpone the class and work on Easter cards with her.
The card you see is one for the white elegance class. I will end up changing the saying though because Easter will be over when I have it. I tell people I am not a white person. What I mean by that is, I do not really like the color white. I am more of very vanilla type of girl. I have seen a lot of cards made using whisper white with just a little bit of color. I really love the look of elegance they have. That is why I decided to have a class making these types of cards.

To make this card I used my Big Shot, perfect polka dots and vintage wallpaper textured impressions embossing folders, eyelet border punch, scallop edge border punch, boho blossoms punch, large oval punch, scallop oval punch, and the bird builder punch. The cardstock colors are whisper white and bashful blue. For embellishments I used 1/4" whisper white grosgrain ribbon and basic pearl jewels.

I have 3 more cards to make for this class. I hope they all turn out just as nice as this one did.
Have a wonderful day, thanks for stopping by, and leave a comment if you would like.

Now it is your turn to go-n-stamp!!

Just Believe Paisley Petals

I am so glad that I had been working on this card already and just needed a few little things done to it to finish it off. I have been enjoying my new grandson as much as I can right now. I do need to get back to playing and making cards though because I have a card class coming up soon.

Originally, I was supposed to have a class and this card was going to be one my customers made. I ended up having to cancel the class though because of so much going on at the time. This card was made using all Stampin' Up! products.

Cardstock: bravo burgundy, always artichoke, not quite navy, whisper white, and paisley petals designer series paper
Stamp set: just believe and teeny tiny wishes
Tools: scallop edge border punch and dotted scallop ribbon border punch
Embellishments: basic rhinestones jewels

Have a wonderful day and thank you for visiting my blog.
