Zoo Review and Open Sea Father's Day Cards

Hello again. I don't know about you, but this has been a very busy week for me. My daughter and son-in-law just moved back home from living in Wyoming for almost 6 years. It is very nice being able to be a part of their lives and my grandson's life (in the flesh), again.
On to the cards I have posted. These were the other 2 Father's Day cards I had made for this year. The first card was made using the stamp set "Zoo Review." The second card was made with "The Open Sea." The Open Sea is definitely one of my top favorite stamp sets. It is also one I would say if you are an avid stamper, you need to own it. I have seen lots of beautiful cards made using it. So worth the investment.

The Zoo Review Father's Day card was made with the following Stampin' Up! items.
Stamp Sets: Zoo Review and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, and Well Worn DSP (retired)
Classic Ink: Early Espresso and Cajun Craze
Tools: Big Shot, Houndstooth and Square Lattice Embossing Folders, Word Window Punch, Stampin' Sponge, the Paper Piercing Pack Occasions and the Paper Piercing Tool, and Watercolor Pencils (retired)

The Open Sea Card was made using the following Stampin' Up! products.
Stamp Sets: The Open Sea and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Night Of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, and Naturals White
Classic Ink: Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, and Basic Gray
Tools: 1 3/8", 1 3/4", and 2 1/2" circle punches, Distress Tool, Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, and Stampin' Sponge
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, and 1/8" silver mini brads

Have a great day. Thank you for stopping by. Remember, these cards can be used with lots of other sentiments, besides Father's Day. I hope you like them and show you that you can create these yourself.

Father's Day Card

Yesterday was Father's Day. I have a few special fathers in my life. None of them are my own father though because he passed away 5 years ago. I would have made him a card for sure if he was still with us. I plan on seeing him again though. That is because of the hope I have in Jesus. Back to the other fathers in my life. One is my husband and the other two are my son-in-laws. I love them all.
The first card I am sharing with you was for my oldest daughter's husband, Bryan! Together they have a 3 year old little boy. Bryan is a wonderful father to Blake. I am very grateful for that.

You need the following Stampin' Up! products to make this card. Now go-n-stamp!!
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke, Naturals White,Midnight Muse, and Early Espresso

Tools: Big Shot, Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Decorative Label Punch, 1 3/8" square punch, and a Stampin' Sponge

Flowering Flourishes Card

Welcome to my blog. If you have never visited before, I would like to personally thank you for stopping by. I hope you like what you see and it gives you ideas for creating your own cards. You can always leave a comment on any of the cards I have made telling me what you think. For those of you that visit my blog regularly, I want to tell you "thanks" I appreciate you very much. You make me want to continue doing this.
The card you see here was made for my daughter for Mother's Day. I did not use a sentiment on it, which means you can use it for any female for any occasion. I am not normally a bright color person, but that is why I really like this card.

These are the Stampin' Up! items I used to create this card.
Cardstock: Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, Summer starfruit, Melon Mambo, whisper white, and Sycamore Street DSP (retired)
Classic Ink: Tangerine Tango
Stamp Set: Flowering Flourishes
Tools: Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Elegant Butterfly Punch, and the Bitty Butterfly Punch
Accessories: Island Indigo 3/8" ruffled ribbon (retired)

After I had already taken pictures of this, I decided to add a Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of the butterfly. You can do that too, if you would like.
