Apothecary Accent Card

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a card with you that I made for my Mom. I got the idea from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Connie Babbert. You can see her card and instructions by clicking here. I do not like copying someone elses work. It is similar, but not exactly the same.

To create this card I used the following Stampin' Up! products.
Cardstock: Island Indigo, Very Vanilla, Pool Party, and Fan Fair DSP
Classic Ink: Island Indigo
Stamp Set: Flowering Flourishes
Embellishments: Very Vanilla 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon and Pearl Basic Jewels
Tools: Big Shot, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Ovals Collection Framelits, Paper Piercing Pack Essentials, Paper Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, and a Stampin' Sponge

It did take a little bit of time to create this card because of all of the layers. In the end, it is well worth the effort. Please leave a comment if you would like. Also if you have any questions you can do that too.

Postage Due Mother's Day Card

To all of you Mom's, I pray you had a wonderful Mother's Day, yesterday. I was able to visit with my mom and one of my daughters. Next year my other daughter will probably be able to visit too. This all depends on where she and her husband live. I am praying it won't be very far away, but I do not know.
I thought I would share with you one of the three cards I made for Mother's Day. The card I am sharing with you, today, is the only one that says "Mother's Day" on it. The other two could be used for other occasions, which is why I am holding off on them. When creating this card at first I did not add any glitter to it. I took pictures of it without, but then I thought maybe I should have added glitter.

Below is the card with the glitter added to it.

These are the Stampin' Up! supplies you need to create this card.
Cardstock: Island Indigo, Primrose Petals, Early Espresso, and Naturals Ivory
Stamp Set: Postage Due and All Holidays (retired)
Classic Ink: Island Indigo, Early Espresso, and Primrose Petals
Tools: Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Designer Frames,
Extra Large Oval Punch, and a Stampin' Sponge
Accessories: 1/4" Early Espresso Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon

Tell me what you think. Do you like the plain card on top or the one with glitter on the bottom.

Wedding Shower Invite 3

Here is the last of the Wedding Invitation samples. This is not only the one that was chosen out of the three, but it is the easiest one to create. Since this was only a sample, the insert is blank. If I were making the insert, the part that shows outside of the pocket would have said, "You're Invited."

These are the Stampin' Up! materials used to create this card.
Cardstock: Night Of Navy, Calypso Coral, and Whisper White
Tools: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper and Perfect Polka Dots embossing Folders, and the Eyelet Border Punch (retired)
Accessories: 5/8" Whisper White Organza Ribbon

Thanks for checking out my blog. Have a wonderful day!
