DCBD #129

Hello again everyone. It is Diva Coffee Break Design time again. Go get out your stamping supplies and play along with us. We would really love to see more people join in with us. Click here to sign up when you make your card this week.

Below is the sketch we were given this week to work with. It looks very simple, but you can really do a lot with this sketch.

This is what I came up with for this challenge. I like it, but have wondered if I almost did too much to it. You will have to leave me a comment to tell me what you think. I have to say it is a different style for me. I do like it though. I even have a gift basket I have been making up to go along with this card. The paper all matches. I am going to give it to our children's ministry director at my church. Tonight is the last night for our kid's programs. We will start back up in the fall. When I get the basket and things going into it finished I will post it on here. It will probably be sometime tomorrow.
This is the recipe for this card. All supplies are SU! Stamp set: Sincere Salutations Ink pad: chocolate chip Card stock: baja breeze, chocolate chip, DSP parisian breeze specialty Tools: scallop oval punch, large oval punch, boho blossoms punch, scallop circle punch, sizzix circles scallop #2, sizzlits die scribbles swirls, and texturz plate small dots Accessories: chocolate chip taffeta ribbon

Whauw, your card is amazingly beautiful. I love the brown and blue combination. And also how you worked the scallop cirle punch into blue flowers. And this swirl...beautiful!
