DCBD #106

Hello everyone. Thanks for taking the time to come and check out my blog. We were given a color scheme for this weeks challenge. I have to admit I thought it was going to be hard to do because I do not have all of the In-Color stamp pads. Surprisingly though, it wasn't as hard as I thought. This is the color scheme we were given.

I hope I did it correctly. I used Kiwi Kiss and not Tangerine Tango because I thought we had a choice between the two. I guess I will find out when I see everyone else's.

This is what I came up with for this challenge. It is unique! Tell me if you think it is too much or not. Hopefully comments will help me get better. Being critiqued in a positive way is a good thing.

This is the recipe for this card.

Cardstock: Baja breeze, chocolate chip, riding hood red, and kiwi kiss

Stamp sets: Snow Swirled, Lovely as a Tree, and Best Yet

Stamp Pads: Baja breeze and Chocolate chip

Tools: Crimper, Ticket corner, Wide oval, Large oval, Photo corners, Snow blossom, and 1/2" circle punches, and sponge daubers

Accessories: Dazzling diamonds glitter and Bold brights real red brads

I like your choice of colors (I did the same with Kiwi and not Tangerine). I've been seeing Lovely as a Tree used more and more and I haven't reached for mine in ages. May have to pull her out again. I like seeing the crimper being used as well. Nice job on your card!

I love your interpretation! A completely unique design, with a beautiful stamped image on the left and a darling mirror image punched on the right. Looks great!
