Fall Anniversary

I finally got around to stamping again. I have some special occasions coming up. One of them is my anniversary. I do not believe my husband will see this card because he doesn't have facebook and he doesn't go to my blog. At least, I hope he doesn't.
Since we were married in the fall, I decided to make a fall card. I used the same colors that were in the fall cards in the previous post. I was even going to use some of the DSP, but I ended up changing my mind and didn't. You can't tell all of the detail that is in this card very easily. I cut out the leaf, pumpkins, acorn, and squash, individually. I put dimensionals behind them to make them stand out. Guess what? Then I wasn't happy with the trees. I had already stamped them twice, just a little off from each other to add dimension. I thought it would bring it out more if I used crystal effects. I did not want them to be solid though. Instead, I dabbed the tip of the bottle up and down all over the trees making clear dots all over. The other thing I did was I sprayed champagne mist on the cut-outs I had made too. I am pleased with the end result. I guess in a few days I will find out if my husband is.

Just in case you wonder what stamp sets and tools I used, here they are. As always, Stampin' Up! products are used.

Stamps: lovely as a tree and autumn harvest; Cardstock: more mustard and naturals ivory; Tools: big shot, embossing folder square lattice, bigz top note die, champagne mist all purpose ink, crystal effects, and watercolor crayons.

Thanks for looking! If you have a minute, please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Have a great day. Now it is your turn to go-n-stamp!!
