Upsy Daisy Thank You Class

I finally was able to get my cards made for my upcoming Thank You card class. I ended up using the Upsy Daisy stamp set. This set is wonderful and very easy to use. I could have added a lot more than just using the ink on the flowers. I try to keep them simple because of time. Usually when I have an eight card class, they average out to be about 3 hours long. If I added embossing it would be even longer. I am going to talk about this with my customers though. If they would like to do embossing on the cards too, I will start doing that.

I posted these in the order of how I made them. The first card was made with elegant eggplant, perfect plum (textured), basic black, and whisper white cardstock.

Card number 2 is made with mellow moss, always artichoke, bashful blue, sahara sand, and confetti white cardstock.

Card number 3 was made with blush blossom, cameo coral, ruby red, and very vanilla cardstock.

The last card I made with so saffron, handsome hunter, really rust, and confetti white cardstock. Yes, I do have a favorite, or maybe I should say, I have 2 favorites. Can you guess which ones they are?
In case you wonder, I go through the Stampin' Up! catalog and pick my favorite color combos. I print the recipes with the pictures and have them added into my catalog. Once I have my favorites picked out, I go to the recipe section and put asteriks beside the one's that were my favorites. It helps me come up with my colors for the classes I have. I also refer back to the older catalogs for color combos too. In other words, don't throw away your older catalogs. They aren't only a catalog, they are an idea book too!!
For the last card I got my colors from watching a television show. In it the man was wearing a so saffron shirt, something that was hunter green on top of it, and a jacket that was really rust. We can get inspiration from lots of things. When was the last time you looked into the sky at all of the beautiful colors the Lord mixes together? Anyways, enough said.
Thanks for looking and tell me what you think.
Now Go-N-Stamp!

loving all your samples, but I'm a purple freak, so the first one really drew me in.
