Brayered and Sponged Card

Hello everyone. I had to make another birthday card. This one is for my cousin that is turning 50! I figure a lot of people will be getting her cards with the number 50 on it. Well I didn't do that. I tried something similar to yesterday's card, but a little different effect. I put a scallop mask over the center to get the scalloped edge. I hope you enjoy this card. If you ever have any questions on how I made something I have on this blog just comment and ask or email me. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Here is the recipe for this card. All materials are Stampin' Up! unless noted.

Paper: So Saffron, Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, and Whisper White
Stamp sets: True Friend and Sincere Salutations
Stamp pads: Night of Navy, So Saffron, and Brocade Blue
Accessories: Rhinestone Brad (Fire Circles) and 1/4" grosgrain Night of Navy ribbon
Tools: Scallop Punch, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches, and 1/16 hole punch
Non SU! items: Brayer, sponge dauber, and Frosted Lace Stickles

PLEASE Comment on my Posts

I have a request for all of you. Please, please, please take the time to leave your comments on the things that I post on here. It is nice knowing what your opinions are of the things I have made. I will not be offended. I can honestly say I am not always thrilled with how some of my projects turn out. In fact, I may even be my own worst critic a lot of the time. The place to leave comments about a project I have posted is underneath what I have typed about it. Just click on the comment label and follow what it says. Thanks so much for doing this for me.

Fresh Cuts Again

This is another card that we made at the Open House I had on Tuesday evening. Everyone seemed to enjoy coming and making the make and takes that I had planned for them to do. It is neat seeing the ladies make something from paper and being happy with what they did.
I used these Stampin' Up! products for this card.
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, and Basic Black
Stamp Pad: StazOn Black and Real Red
Ribbon: 1/4" black grosgrain
Accessory: Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Pen

3" x 3" Card

I can say I really like this card and it was easy to make. I like this size for baby or wedding showers.
For this card I used these Stampin' Up! products:
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, and Bashful Blue
Stamp Set: Fun and Fast Notes
Ribbon: 1/4" bashful blue grosgrain
Accessories: Large Star Punch, Small Star Punch, and an Earth Elements brad

Fresh Cuts

I have been wanting to play with this set. I was going to use this card for my Open House, but then decided it might be too much to do. I really like these colors together.
This is the recipe for this card. Once again everything is SU! products.
Paper: Bashful Blue, Whisper White, and Chocolate Chip
Stamp Pads: Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip
Ribbon: Chocolate Chip Taffeta
Stamp Set: Fresh Cuts
Accessories: 1 3/8" circle punch and 1 1/4" circle punch

Anniversary Card

Hi everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I last posted. I have been plenty busy and when I do have time to do things I am tired and don't want to do anything. I know it isn't a good excuse, but never the less it is true.
This is a card I had made for my friend's anniversary. I liked it, but when I see it on here it really doesn't do it any justice. A lot of times I have found the pictures don't look as good as the real thing.
Anyway this is what I used to make this card. All supplies are from Stampin' Up!
Paper: Summer Sun, Elegant Eggplant, Really Rust, and Always Artichoke
Stamp Sets: Hugs and Wishes, Time Well Spent
Stampin' Around: So Swirly
Stamp Pads: VersaMark and Elegant Eggplant
SU! colored pencils (retired)
