Sketched Birthday Card

Hello, blogger friends. Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my card/papercraft creations. I really appreciate all of my visitors. I just pray that my work leaves you with inspiration to create with paper and stamps yourself. When working with stamps I say, "If you can color, you can stamp!"
The card I am sharing with you, today, was created for my grandson who just turned 4 years old. I chose 4 slices of cake because it represented how old he was turning. Another thing I did, I took the saying "happy birthday, cupcake" and only used the happy birthday part from the stamp set "Sketched Birthday." I did not think "happy birthday, cupcake" was an appropriate saying for a little boy or man for that matter. I did like the fact that it was in an arched formation. Once I stamped that, I added the number 4 using the stamp set "Memorable Moments." With that all said, this is how it turned out.

These are the Stampin' Up! products you will need to create this card.
Stamp sets: Memorable Moments and Sketched Birthday
Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, So Saffron, and Whisper White
Tools: Big Shot, Squares Collection Framelits, Houndstooth and Chevron Embossing Folders, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Stampin' Write Markers, and a Stampin' Sponge

This card needed to be very colorful because it was made for a child, as well as, it was for a birthday.
Please leave a comment if you would like.

Now go-n-stamp!!
