Curvy Keepsake Box Turkeys

Hello everyone! I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving! I really had a nice time with my family. I just love being able to spend time with them.
As I promised in my last post. Here are the turkeys I made for my 3 grandsons. They maybe did not enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them for them, but that is the fun in being able to give something that you have made yourself. Yes, that gives me a lot of joy!!

When making these I was inspired by another lady that made and shared hers on Pinterest. If you would like to see her turkey you can click here. It is not the top one that you see first that inspired me, but the one that is  next. It was so elegant and more the look that I wanted to create myself.
As I have shared before, I don't like to case what someone else creates. Due to that reason, mine is similar in some ways, and yet different. I decided to share two of the turkeys up close and then one that has the three of them altogether. Each one is just a little bit different than the other ones, but still very much the same.

Stampin' Up! items used to create these little guys:

Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, and Whisper White
Tools: Big Shot, Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die, Feathers Framelits Dies, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Owl Builder Punch (eyes), and Petite Pennants Builder (beak)
Accessories: Neutrals Candy Dots, Autumn Wooden Elements, clothespin (not SU!), and leaves (not SU!)

Thank you, once again, for visiting my blog. This is something I enjoy doing and is my outlet. I hope you like what you see and go away inspired to try and create something yourself. There is so much joy in creating something yourself and then giving it away!!
Now go-n-stamp!!

Blended Bloom Birthday Card

I have a friend that loves music. The designer series paper that was used to make this card has been retired. Just for her, I still wanted to use it anyhow.
If you have not tried out the Stampin' Blendabilities, as of yet, you should really consider getting some or if you have them try them. They are a lot of fun to work/play with. You will definitely want the color lifter, too. I really like the effect it gives.

Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card.
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Whisper White (Blended Bloom Image), and Modern Medley DSP (retired)
Ink: Wisteria Wonder and Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamp Sets: Blended Bloom and Another Great Year (retired)
Tools: Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blendabilities
Accessories: Antique Brads

I guess I need to double check some of the stamp sets that I am using and make sure they aren't retired. For some reason I missed that Another Great Year had retired. Even so, it is nice to use some of these retired sets every once in a while.

Thanksgiving is quickly coming upon us. Please, be watching. I am going to be posting some turkeys I created for my grandsons. I think they turned out great!! Until then, have a great week!

Now go-n-stamp!!

Blended Bloom Anniversary Card

Today, I am sharing with you an anniversary card that I had created for my husband. Without the blended bloom flower, it was just too plain for my liking. Once, I added the flower it pleased me. I don't know if you are like that or not. There are times I just do not like a card I created. There are times I have to play with a card with different elements to finally like it. Then there are times I love it.

These are the Stampin' Up! products you would need to create this card.
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, and Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper
Stamp Set: Blended Bloom and The Open Sea
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Tools: Big Shot, Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die, Circles Collection Framelits, Stampin' Sponge, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities Markers
Accessories: Regals Candy Dots

Thank you for visiting! I do appreciate that you take the time to look and read my blog. While you are here, I would love if you would take the time to leave me a comment.
Now it is your turn to go-n-stamp!!
