Wedding Shower Invite #2

I am sharing another wedding shower invitation with you. This one is opened like most cards are opened. I had already shared with you that I think for invitations they should be different than a normal card. I just was giving the lady a few choices. In case you are wondering, the card I will post after this one is the one she chose for the shower. To be honest, it was the one I would have chose also.

This card was made with calypso coral, island indigo, and whisper white cardstock. It looks more like Miami Dolphin colors. At least, that is what my husband said. He liked it. I used the full heart punch and a heart from the framelits collection. Of course, I used the big shot. For the embossing I used the vintage wallpaper and perfect polka dots folders. For the flower I used the boho blossoms punch. The punch that the ribbon goes across on was the eyelet border punch, which is retired. The ribbon is the 5/8" organza ribbon and I added a large pearl basic jewel. Lastly, the sentiment is from the sincere salutations set, which that set is retired also.
Once again, thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Wedding Shower Sample Invitation

We all know that it is getting to be the most busy time of year for weddings. I have a few sample wedding shower invitations to share with you over the next week or two. I tend to like the cards that are folded a little differently than the standard half fold card for occasions like this.

This card is designed with the gate fold. The ribbon is holding the flaps together. It has a lot of detail in it, but it is so pretty. Just remember, if you like this card, you can easily change the colors to whatever your wedding colors are very easily.
These are the supplies I used to make this card. Calypso coral, midnight muse, and whisper white cardstock. The big shot machine, along with the oval framelits, the scalloped heart of hearts textured impressions embossing folder embosslits, the lacy brocade, vintage wallpaper, and perfect polka dots textured impressions embossing folders. The bird builder punch. Last of all, the 5/8" organza ribbon.
I am sorry that the pictures never seem to be as good as seeing it in person. I may end up having to make a light box one day. Please leave a comment telling me your opinion on it. Thank you for looking!! Have a wonderful day!
