Hello!! I was recently asked by my mom to make a special birthday card for a man that is going to be 100 years old. Wow, that is amazing isn't it. I gladly accepted the chance to do this. Of course, I hope he really likes it.
For some reason I wanted to make this card look like a bakery. I started off with figuring out my window, except I did not put it onto my card front yet. I then created my brick wall. I added chocolate chip classic ink with a stamping sponge to the bricks and also on the really rust base card. Someone recently shared a new technique on how to make bricks. It is easy to do, but it does take a little bit of time. At the bottom of the card I used sahara sand and sponged on chocolate chip to it to make it look somewhat like a sidewalk. I wanted a place to set my pot with the balloons in it. I thought the two tags and the window punch would make a very nice window sill.
Everything I used was Stampin' Up! products, except for the numbers on the balloons. To make those I used a stencil that I have had for a really long time.
If you have any questions about this card, please feel free to ask me. I am pleased with the end result. I hope the person I made this for will be just as happy as I am.
If you have a minute while you are looking, I would love it if you would leave a comment.
Now it is your turn to go-n-stamp!!
