Update

Hello fellow bloggers. I was wanting to let you know that I am planning on getting some new things posted in a day or two. My stamping area is in the basement. It has been so cold down here that I haven't wanted to stay down here to stamp. Yes, I do have a heater that I can run, but it takes a little bit of time to warm it up. Anyhow now you know why I haven't done anything. My goal is to have at least one thing new a week. I didn't make it this time around. Sorry everyone!

I hope you have been able to stamp.

Where have I been?

It has been a while, once again, since I have posted anything new. I thought I would let you see in on a little bit of my life. I have told you in the past that I now have a grandson. Well, my husband and I had the privilege of being able to go out and see him for the very first time. Here are a few of the pictures I took while we were in Wyoming.

We had a very nice visit with my daughter, son-in-law, and their son. We ended up staying a day longer than anticipated, due to the weather. They were supposed to get up to 25" of snow. I do not believe we got that much, but it did make roads bad enough for us to have to wait one extra day to catch our flight to go home.

This is my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.

Check out that smile! He has been smiling since about 2 months old, I believe.
Grandma is holding him! What a sweetie! I love babies!!
I was working on some cards while I was out there. I need to get some of them finished up. I will post them very soon. Please keep watching and following my blog.
Thanks for looking, my blog friends.
Now go-n-stamp!!

In Memory

One year ago today my dad (Sonny) passed away. I just wanted to share how much he is missed and loved. He was my shopping buddy, listener, and defender. We would go shopping on the Saturdays he did not have to work. From the time I was a little girl we would go shopping on Christmas Eve. He always waited to the last minute to buy my mom her Christmas presents. I would usually wrap them for him too. The last few years we had went I didn't though. He was a believer in Christ, a giver, didn't talk bad about people, a man of integrity. One other thing I want to add is that people used to think we were married. The reason is because how many father and daughters do you see out doing things together. I am so very thankful for having him for a father. He is definitely missed, but I know where he is and I can spend eternity with him. The Lord has promised that anyone who believes in HIM, meaning Christ, shall be saved (John 3:16 and Acts 16:31). Another verse that I really like is this: "But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus." Ok, that is 2 verses, which are found in First Thessalonians 4:13-14. I love you, Dad, and miss you.

Welcome to my new blog.

This is Pixie! Everyone in my house says she is my baby. I tell them she is because my babies have grown up.
