Happy 4th of July

Pull-out-book

Heidi, my upline, challenged Julie and I to make one of these books. I do like how it turned out. I woke up this morning though and thought about another way it could be used. The way I made it, it is merely for decoration. To me it is a waste. The other idea that came to me though is if on the one side you spelled out the word B-A-B-Y. The other side you could put a picture of the baby, the footprints, and the statistics. It could be a keepsake. That to me is worth making! Of course, you could improvise and put girl or boy instead of baby. I hope you enjoy this and maybe get the inspiration to make one yourself.

First Class

I finally had my very first class. We did the Fill the Keeper class. The only thing is you can no longer get the keeper. We got the main parts of the cards done. They still have to glue the card fronts to the cards, as well as, they also need to add the stickers on. Overall the class went very well. I felt very comfortable doing it and I believe they did too.

Cards for Nicole's Calendar Book

Ok, this has taken me a while to get done. I finally got 12 cards made to go into Nicole's calendar. I have a hard time trying to make a bunch of different cards at the same time. I am much better only having to concentrate on a smaller amount. I used the same paper for the cards that I used for the calendar book. I used the Priceless Stamp Set, For a Friend, So Many Scallops, and Birthday Whimsy from SU! I am very much considering doing this for a class.

New Header

Hey everyone! What do you think of my new banner? A very nice lady that just became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator made it for me. I love it! Waterfall Card

My friend, Heidi, made a waterfall card, of which I was supposed to have made one a long time ago. Once again, there goes my procrastination problem. I finally sat down this evening and made one. I made mine from the same tutorial Heidi used. I changed all of the supplies to make it though.

Here is the items I used to make this card (Stampin' Up!).

Paper: DSP Berry Bliss, Purely Pomegranate, and Whisper White

Accessories: Brads, Pretty in Pink ribbon, Pretty in Pink stamp pad.

Nicole's Calendar

I wanted to get this on here right away. I am so very pleased with how it turned out. I hope my daughter will feel the same way. She was just recently married and I thought making this will help her remember when everyone's birthdays and anniversaries are.

I found this on another ladies blog and knew right away this was what I wanted to make for Nicole.

Tools: Scallop punch, Boho Blossoms punch, Circle punch 1 3/8", Circle Rhinestone brads (Fire),

White gel pen, 1/16 hole punch, Bind-it-All machine

Misc.: Computer to print the cover words, and for the monthly calendars on the inside pages.
