Blended Bloom Anniversary Card

Today, I am sharing with you an anniversary card that I had created for my husband. Without the blended bloom flower, it was just too plain for my liking. Once, I added the flower it pleased me. I don't know if you are like that or not. There are times I just do not like a card I created. There are times I have to play with a card with different elements to finally like it. Then there are times I love it.

Blended Bloom Pin #2

I wanted to say that I am sorry. It has been a while since I have shared anything on here. I have had some changes going on in my life due to getting a new job and also having a third grandson born. Both of these things are for the good. I will try very hard to not leave so much time go by for now on.
If you follow me, you will remember that I said I would probably share more pins that can be made using the Blended Bloom Stamp Set. The one I am sharing with you today is made with Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Up Blendabilities.

 I had someone ask me if the Crystal Effects changes the color of the Stampin' Blendabilities. I can honestly say that with the Melon Mambo Blendabilities I did not notice any change in the color. With this set though, I did notice it did affect the color. With that said, I still think it turned out pretty good. If you play around with other colors you may notice some change, too.

I like to share two different views sometimes so you can see the layering, as well as what it looks like from the front.

Maritime Curvy Keepsake Box

When I seen the new Curvy Keepsake Box in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, I knew it was something I wanted to order. I tend to like to purchase the box makers because they are great for little gifts and favors for weddings, showers, and birthdays. You just never know what you will one day be asked to make for someone or you may need it for something personal, for instance, your own daughter is having a shower

This little box is very easy to make. The one you see I created has no stamping in it at all. The images I used are from the Maritime Designer Series Paper. I just cut the whale out using Paper Snips. The tags come with the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies. I just used sections of the Maritime DSP for those and then used cardstock to compliment each one.

Kind of Eclectic Cards

If you don't own this stamp set you are missing out. I have talked about some different sets that are versatile. I would say, hands down, this is another one.
If you haven't tried out the new set of "In Color" stamp pads, you need to. I love the colors. I believe, it is because I tend to really like the rich, dark colors. That is why I really gravitate to the Regals collection.

Here is another card using the same stamp set with a different lay out.
Pretty much it uses all of the same materials as the card above, except for the following:
Cardstock: Tangelo Twist and Lost Lagoon; Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels

I intentionally left off the sayings on these cards. There are times you need a card for something quick and these can be made to say almost anything you want. The top card was used for a sympathy card. The bottom card has not been used yet. I will put a saying on it when I need it.

Another Great Year Birthday Card

I am sharing with you a card that is pretty easy to make. The most detail is the cutting around the "Happy Birthday to You" saying. The Work of Art stamp set makes such really cool backgrounds. I love how easy it is to use and create with.

This card could be created in a variety of colors! I chose these colors because I sent this one to my son-in-law.

Something for Baby Card

I don't know about you, but I LOVE babies! I know quite a few young women that are going to have babies in the near future. One of them is my daughter.
I created this card as a sample. To be honest, I need to create some more, which I will, just not yet. The one lady I worked with is considering having me make some for her when her baby is born. Plus, I need to have some made up for when I need one.

Cardstock: Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White
Stamp Set: Something for Baby
Tools: Big Shot, Baby's First Framelits, Banners Framelits, and the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder

This card is for a little boy, but could be easily changed by using Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder, and So Saffron. I am sure you could come up with a few other colors besides those.

Blended Bloom Pin

Even though I myself am not a jewelry person, I thought this Blended Bloom flower stamp would make a pretty pin. There is a ton of things that can be done to this flower stamp to make it even different than what I have come up with. You could add more layers. You could use a fancy brad in the middle of the flower. The colors you choose could be endless. Maybe, even more than what I just suggested could be done. You may be seeing more of these in the near future. Just because I think it would be fun to play with.

I tried to capture the layers in the picture above. I can see them, so you should be able to, as well.

An optional idea is to create your own box. I have created one, but I did not take a picture of it. You can use your Simply Scored Scoring Tool or the new Gift Box Punch Board in the Holiday Catalog to create it.
The only other thing I did was cut a piece of Basic Black Cardstock into a square, put 2 holes in it, and attached the pin through it. I think this would be a great craft fair idea!
