Zoo Review Birthday Card

I am happy that I had this card made and ready to post. I have not been able to work on any cards lately due to a very good interruption in our lives. My daughter had her baby boy! Guess what? He is super cute. What do you expect a grandma to say, right?
This card was made for my husband's birthday. I used the stamp set "Zoo Review." The lion reminds me of the biblical meaning and made me want to get this stamp set because of it. I also really like the giraffe too. I will have to make a card using it sometime soon.

I have already told you that I used Zoo Review, but I also used many other Stampin' Up! products to create this card. The colors are not quite navy, cajun craze, soft suede, very vanilla, and well worn designer series paper. I used my Big Shot along with the houndstooth textured impressions embossing folder. One of my favorite tools, the stamping sponge, gives the card an aged and rich look. I love the look that it gives. Oh, one more thing. I used crystal effects around the lions head. To be honest, I was not completely happy with the way my lion came out. I need to play around with my other coloring tools some day soon and see if I can get a better look in the end.
That is all for today. Thank you for visiting and leave a comment if you would like.

Now it is your turn to go-n-stamp!!
