Build A Cupcake Birthday Card

Wow, is it cold outside or what? I know, it could be worse. Still, it is cold outside. Now that I have made that clear. Here is another card using one of the new punches featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog, page 22, Build a Cupcake (121807). You will probably be seeing this one used quite often on here. I did not purchase the coordinating stamp set for this one. I thought that with all of the different Designer Series Paper and cardstock that would give a lot of choices for style, color, and texture.

Here is a list of the Stampin' Up! supplies I used to create this card.

Stamp Set: Sincere Salutations; Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, and Greenhouse Gala DSP; Ink: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, and Daffodil Delight; Tools: Build a Cupcake punch, large oval punch, scallop oval punch, scallop border punch, ticket corner punch, and stampin' sponge; Accessories: 1/4" real red grosgrain ribbon and a circle red rhinestone brights brad.

I pray I have inspired you, today. If so, maybe you would like to leave a comment. Thanks!

Now it is your turn to go-n-stamp!!

  1. I love your take on this new punch. At first I thought you were using the negitive punching and then I enlargened your photo and seen that either you punched dark cardstock and placed it behind your printed paper OR you used marker to put shadow in. Great job. TFS

  2. Hi, Lois. One of your guesses is correct. I used chocolate chip cardstock behind the designer series paper to make it stand out more on the whisper white background. Thanks for leaving a comment! I appreciate it very much!
